WIN or Go Home!|D1 & D2 Quarter/Semi Finals Preview

Win or go home is the name of the game,  the final 4 in Division 1 gets under way while six Division 2 teams battle it out in the semi/quarter finals.

Can’t believe my eyes THE WARRIORS have arrived.

The Division 2 playoffs got its second game underway at 5pm. #9 Booyah went up against #10 Warriors. These two teams met up on Week #2 where Booyah posted a 56 – 55 win with Karim Khalil hitting the game winner. This time around many of the Booyah’s primary players were absent including Khalil and the Warriors took advantage. Kemoy Mathis had a game high with (22 points, 10 rebounds) and Lester Cole added 16 points and 13 rebounds to the mix. Louis Cole (8 points) and Anthony Feng (6  points, 2 rebounds) rounded off the top scorers for the team.

Morningwood vs. X-Squad| Playoff Recap

The 8:00 pm  Division 1 playoff matchup featuring #1 seed Morningwood (6-1) and the  #8 seeded X-Squad (3-4) had all the makings of an epic battle. Both teams had effective big men and scoring guards, so the game was filled with offense.

Brown Mamabaz vs. FoHi Crew | Playoff Recap

#2 Brown Mambaz (5-2) was matched up against #7 FoHi Crew (3-4). The two teams played on Week #7 where FoHi Crew came out victorious with a 11 point win (75 – 66).  FoHi Crew was led by Jairo Lopez 29 points 8 rebounds , Jaime Villalobos with 14 points 9 rebounds and Desean Collins gave him 15 points in the game. Robert Aguilar added 13 points while  Anthony Anderson added 10 points  to help with the scoring load.

IBL Division 1& 2| Playoff Preview

After the final week of the regular season… the standings are final.  Week 8 brings on the playoffs.  And for teams that didn’t make the Final Four in their division they will be finishing off Week 8 against similarly ranked teams.

Win or Go Home is the name of the game now!

After completing a tough regular season, 8 Division 1 teams will be competing for the right to call themselves the King of IBL Division1 Season 3.

In the Division 2 Playoff Picture, 10 teams have stamped a ticket to the postseason, 8 teams will square off in the quarterfinals while the first and second place team get a well deserved 1st round bye.
