S.T.A.T vs. Speed Kills
After 2 weeks of getting fully acquainted with their personnel S.T.A.T finally got it together.
STAT started the game raising the tempo with each possession. After failing to convert on multiple uncontested lay-up attempts in the first half they opened up the second half on a run and never looked back, Speed Kills was blown away by the fresh legs of STAT’s bench and their unconventional 5 men in and 5 men out method .
STAT was led by Tyrell Goldsberry who finished with 12 points Danny Longmire chipped in 6 points and 15 rebounds while Jonathan Redmond & Robel Kevorkian rounded out the scoring load with 11 points apiece. The scoring attack was very balanced for this team and it showed with their largest scoring output so far this season.
Speed Kills hung around early in the game with Di’Mon (20 points) hitting 3 pointers from “Jimmer range”, Alan (16 points) was their second leading scorer and was the only other player besides Di’Mon to get into double figures.

Fly Society vs. A-Team
Tempers flare as Fly Society outlasts A-Team to record their first victory this season .
Both teams shorthanded with only 5 players but in the end Fly Society managed to execute down the stretch and come out with their first W of the season. The game was attainable for the A-Team but they lost their composure down the stretch and late technical fouls by the A-Team added to the point total and increased Fly Society’s lead.
Fly Society’s leading scorer Desean Collins finished the afternoon with a game high 24 points and helped put the game away late in the 4th; along with Desean his teammate Robert Aguilar added 20 points, Jaime Villalobos (15 points) and Jairo Lopez (7 points) both had an off game offensively as they combined for 22 points but made their presence felt by grabbing rebounds. Jairo finished with 10 boards while Jaime had 14.
A-Team however kept themselves within distance of Fly Society with their balanced scoring as they had 3 players in double digits; Shandon K. finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds , Mikal Abdullah with 18 and 7 rebounds, and rounding out the scoring load was Danny Medina with 10 and 6 rebounds.

Smash Bros. vs. Warriors
After a heartbreaking Week 2 loss Smash Bros. returned in Week 3 to face the Warriors who were also coming off a Week 2 loss. The Smash Bros. dominated the game from start to finish and the Warriors never seemed to really make the game interesting.
Even with the absence of their leading scorer Ray Saldivar the Smash Bros. had a very powerful but balanced attack with Julius (16 points 7 rebounds) Jed (15 points 5 rebounds) and Corey (13 points 11 rebounds).
The Warriors managed to get production from Louis (10 points 5 rebounds) & Domo Cole (13 points 3 rebounds) they were the only two players on the Warriors who finished with double digits. Offensively it was an off game for the Warriors, everyone has those days…this past sunday was just one of those days. Lets see how this team rebounds.

Cali Raisins outlasts Double Dribble
Cali Raisins drop both their big men before the game (Height rule), Double Dribble GM allows one of them to run (Spirit of being fair) and Double Dribble fails to record a win for the first time in the IBL regular season.
Double Dribble and Cali Raisins arguably the two hottest teams in the IBL took the court this past sunday and the Cali Raisins came out on top in the possible finals preview. The loss of one of their big men seem to not phase the Raisins one bit as they ran their offense through their point guard Jordan Ramos as they usually do. Double Dribble tried to make a late game push but the Raisins just wanted it more. Double Dribble failed to come up with defensive stops late in the game and that eventually lead to them losing the game.
Geo V. led all Double Dribble scorers with 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, Diahante Pickett was the teams second leading scorer with 10 points and 3 rebounds. The Jimenez brothers were held to season lows with Jesse chipping in 6 points and Jerry with 5.
The Cali Raisins had a much more potent offense and finished the game with 2 players in double figures Jordan Ramos had a game high 20 points and 3 rebounds while Dylan finished with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
