With their 3rd championship in 4 seasons looming in the balance Dynasty made sure the defending champions Do Work did not get in their way of accomplishing their goal.
Dynasty began the day in the semi-final round; they squared off with a young STAT team who had defeated them a few weeks before this match-up. The veteran Dynasty team got off to a HOT start sinking basket after basket thanks in large part to the play of Derrick Pickett who helped Dynasty close the game early in the second half; and helped the squad advance to the championship game.
Like Dynasty, Do Work began the day in the Semi’s matched up with a young Fly Society team whom they had defeated earlier in the season by a narrow margin, so revenge was imminent in this
game for Fly Society. Although Fly Society was out for revenge they could not contain Do Work’s F Kenneth Ubom as he exploded for an outrageous amount of point to guide his team to their second consecutive championship game appearance.
