H.A.M – Regulators

H.A.M makes little work out of their opponent as they dominate the Regulators in a 30 point romping. 77-47

H.A.M was led by Kenny as he finished with a team high 25 points, 2 rebounds. Eddie assisted with the scoring load and added 22 points and 6 rebounds.  Jose added 12 points and 13 rebounds to complete the scoring trio that dominated the inexperienced Regulators.

After their heart breaking loss to the Cali Raisins in Week 5, the Regulators returned to action looking for a victory to rebound on. They did not find such thing; they ran into an experienced H.A.M team who was ready for the abrasive young bunch.  Ashford B.  led all Regulator players with 17 points and 2 rebounds while Brandon T. added 12 points and 5 rebounds. No other Regulator player was close to double digits.

Wonton Soup – Double Dribble

After lighting up the opposition in Week 5 with their hot 3 point shooting, Wonton Soup was on the opposite end of  the hot 3 point shooting when they took on Double Dribble in a rematch of the Season 3 Division 2 Championship game.

Wonton Soup was led by Jaime Villalobos as he finished with a team high 18 points and 5 rebounds  assisting Villalobos was  Matt Achucarro who chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds.  The rest of Wonton Soup was ineffective shooting 10/27 from the field.  They fell in a hole early and could not get out.

Double Dribble’s attack  fueled by their drive and kick style of play.  They shot 15/24 from the 3 point line and had a stretch in the second half where they could not miss.  Jerry Jimenez led all Double Dribble players with 24 points and 6 rebounds while Geo V. added 21 points and 4 rebounds. Diahnte Pickett rounded out the top 3 team scorers for the high-powered offense of Double Dribble as he finished with 13 points and 6 rebounds.

Beyond The Arch – Thunder

Thunder can’t stop leading MVP candidate Justin Benson of Beyond the Arch and fall in stunning fashion.

After two straight lackluster performances which resulted in losses Justin Benson awoke from his shooting slump and put on a 3 point clinic in his Week 6 game against the Thunder.  He had  his best shooting performance going 5/12 from 3 point land and finished with 28 points and 11 rebounds.  Jamel Benson was really the story for Beyond The Arch as he finished with a season high 21 points and 3 rebounds.

The Thunder had no defensive answer for the Benson Bros. early in the game but Anthony Cockrell and Xavier Goss managed to be an answer on the offensive end as they combined for 39 of the teams 54 points. Domo Beebe added 8 points and 6 rebounds but that just wasn’t enough to get their team over the hump.

Soak City!  vs. Bulls

Soak City no match for the Bulls as they run through them early and record a 30 point win.

Soak City’s leading scorer for the game was Rashad C. as he finished with 15 points going 5/10 from the field. Eric I. finished with 13 points and 1 assist. Those were the two bright spots for Soak City! in the blowout.

The Bulls had very  balanced scoring as they  had 4 players in double figures ; Drew finished with a team high 21 points Antwon Blocker had 18 point and 7 rebounds. Cedrick finished the game with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Mike V had 10 points and 4 rebounds.

Cali Raisins vs. Smash Bros.

The ‎California Raisins pull out another close victory to push their record to a flawless 6-0 

This was the big game for both teams,  #1 Cali Raisins vs. #3 Smash Bros. with the #1 spot on the line. Both teams gave their all and in the end the Raisins outlasted the Smash Bros. and proved that they are indeed the best team in the division.

The Smash Bros. were led by Corey and Ray as the both finished with 13 points apiece, Julius and Jed added 10 points apiece while Jed finished with 8 points to round out all scorers for the Smash Bros. a turnover on the final possession cost this team the game.

For the Raisins Jordan Ramos led all scorers 16 points and 3 rebounds, Kwasi Mensah added 13 points and 6 rebounds and Kevin Chow rounded out the top 12 with his 10 points.

The Raisins look to finish the regular season in Week 7 with a perfect 7-0 record.  They’ve  clinched the #1 overall seed for the division in the playoffs.

Fly Society – STAT

After Weeks off   speculation  STAT took on their Division 1 counter parts Fly Society in an overtime thriller it came down to the final moments but ultimately Fly Society prevailed and come out with a 57-55 win.

STAT was led by Robel Kevorkian who finished with a team high 16 points and 5 rebounds. Danny Longmire assisted with 9 points and 9 rebounds  and big man J’Quandrei Ellis rounded out the top 3 with  6 points and 4 rebounds .

 Fly Society had most of their scoring done by the combination of Jairo Lopez , Jaime Villalobos, Robert Aguilar and Ralph Chavez.

Jairo Lopez  finished with a game high 18 points as he was the go to man for Fly Society all game he also hit a clutch 3 point shot that sent the game into overtime.  Robert Aguilar had a quiet 10 points and 3 rebounds Jaime Villalobos also added a quiet 13 points and 8 rebounds and Ralph Chavez  finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds to round out the scoring load.

Blu Dream – Do Work

Do Work makes little work of the Blu Dream as tempers flare late in the game.

Do Work was led by Donte Smith who finished with a team 18 points. Drake Walker added 11 points and 7 rebounds  while Aaron W. finished with 9 points.

praise Odo Boms finished with a team/game high 20 points and 12 rebounds. Lalo C. was the teams second leading scorer with 14 points 4 rebounds

Knicee– Dynasty

Dynasty and Knicee cross paths with Dynasty walking away unharmed. 

Knicee was led by Odell Howard 16 points 10 rebounds, John Dang who finished with a team high 13 points and 8 rebounds, Alvaro Nunez was the teams third leading scorer and he added 14 points and 3 rebounds. Although the scoring was balanced Knicee only had 4 players.

Dynasty finished with all 5  starters  in double figures Rich Cobarrubias with 17 and 4 , Derrick Pickett with 14 and 8,  Diahnte Pickett with 13 and 5, Dewayne O’Neal 11 and 7 and Jose Vasquez with 15 and 4.
